Wednesday Wisdom

A government could print a good edition of Shakespeare’s works, but it could not get them written.

And if the government tried then measure for measure it would be the comedy of errors.

Of course, such a government enterprise would cost a bloody fortune, to which it would reply: all's well that ends well, and any critisism of such waste would be fobbed off as much ado about nothing.

At the end of the day, as usual, it will be a midsummers night's dream for the punters while the government will quell the tempest of public discontent by assuring them that their focus groups had established that this was exactly as you like it.

Anyway I couldn't give a fat fig cause I'm off to have a good time with the merry wives of windsor (on a government credit card) regardless of what the two gentlemen of verona have to say about it.
