Wednesday Wisdom

All communication is as sign of failure. If everybody is pleased with the situation, then there is no need for communication.

All communication? Aw c'mon Pete, what about statements like,

Bod 1: "No sign of failure on the horizon, we continue to be pleased with the situation."

Bod 2: "Make that very pleased with the situation."

Bod 3: "In fact, we're so pleased with the situation that we need to communicate to the whole world how we got it so right."

    Et cetera.

I suspect Pete is one of those sweeping generalists.

Oh wait, I think I get it now.

Bod 2 is VERY PLEASED with the situation due to our past experience of failure.

Bod 3 wants to communicate to the world to remind others of our success, their failure, and so as not to fail to reap the intellectual property dividend.

Thus Pete has every right to be pleased with his situation. But if that's the case, then we shouldn't have heard from him at all.

    Oh I give up!

  4. Of course, if I say anything at all, this exchange will have been a dud.

Ipso facto, I offer no comment.

Ooops, I've already said too much!
