"Trust Me"

"Australians should be prepared for PM John Howard to "say anything" to hold on to power as the election approaches, Labor Leader Kevin Rudd says."

    Precisely Caz!

  2. It would have been equally stupid coming from either of them.

    Not very savvy of Rudd.

They are both riding along with the peculiar refrain that we should trust them - Howard and Rudd are both doing it - and they'll fill us in on the blanks after the election.

The ALP's IR changes will phase out AWAs by 2012.

That assumes they win two terms of government, if I can still count using my fingers, correct?

In other words, they can't deliver on Gillard's much vaunted IR changes.

I'm getting really pissed off with this, and we're not even in the serious phase of campaigning yet.
