Wednesday Wisdom

"If some people buy my books for vanity, and then do not understand them, that is not my fault. I consider it a tax on idiocy."

Umberto Eco

It's much like Hawking's "A Brief History Of Time", a best-selling book that very few actually read.

Foucault's Pendulum was complex, but very enjoyable.

  2. Cubicle - you were too polite to notice that I got all ahead of myself; posted this on Tuesday (the inaugural Wednesday Wisdom, on a Tuesday, oh the irony!), I moved the post and moved your comment.

I did read "A Brief History Of Time", but I wasn't silly enough to try to understand it as a scientist, I read it as philosophy, which made it much easier to tackle. Another enjoyable book.
