Honesty in politics

In startling news, buried deep inside the Sunday paper, Tony Abbott recently kept his word by visiting a Queensland mother of six, who has concerns about coal seam gas.

Mrs Orr's local member gave her a call, seeking morning tea one Saturday.  MP Bruce Scott took the PM with him, and a pleasant time was had by all.

Mrs Orr lives 250km outside of Brisbane.

Abbott continues to be a decent person who goes out of his way to do the right thing.

He visited, he listened, just as he said he would.

Abbott honours a promise

  1. Yes, a decent person.. A breath of fresh air, Caz.

  2. Won't stop the deniers though, hey Kathy.

Journos at Fairfax and the ABC struggling to pile on the criticism. Easy now, I suppose, but going to look a bit ridiculous in a couple of years, as was their never-ending positive spin on everything Gillard did - right to the bitter end, they held on like true believers.

I should probably feel sorry for them, must be hard to get up each morning and come up with something awful to say about Abbott, and something awful to say about the economy and blame it on the Libs (sheesh, haven't done anything with the economy yet, have they?!).
