Wednesday Wisdom

Go out as far as you can go and start from there.

Albert Einstein

  1. I'm sceptical Albert said that. It's kind of trite and cheesy and ... unEinsteinlike.

On the other hand apparently Einstein was very attractive to women and this was something by all accounts (of which apparently there are many) he enthusiastically encouraged. Maybe he was talking about something to do with that.

  2. Hmm. If not, then someone exceptionally smart said it.

Most people start from where they are, or from where they last were.

  3. OK "trite" is the definitely the wrong word. "Pat" might be better or too declaratory. Einstein wasn't into telling people how they should think. He was demonstrative.

But then I remember he was a teacher with students and I'm not so obsessed with it that I could be bothered Googling it so how the hell would I know.

  4. I only ever remember Einstein as being that funny looking old guy.
