Yet another unintended consequence of the mindless, unsophisticated practice of bunging a tax on anything that allegedly requires a government intervention: the soft drink industry is running short of carbon dioxide (which used to put the fizz into your mixers and your Coke).
While the ALP/Greens inspired tax won’t be introduced until the middle of this year, carbon dioxide is already on the decline, so will be taken as a sign from the gods as the tax being a huge success.
Cheers.
Pass the flat gin and tonic.
