Mona had a bun?

Find Mona's bun - a fun new game for the whole family.

New 3D imaging has revealed that the Mona Lisa originally wore a maternity garment and had her hair gathered up in a bun.

I'm embarrassed to say, but when I first read the photo caption, "Find Mona's bun," I thought you were referring to her bun as in bun-in-the-oven. The more I think of it, the more I think MY game of Find Mona's Bun sounds much more interesting.

By the way, have you noticed that Mrs. Drunka made her debut as a guest blogger on her own darling dear's The Drunkablog ( I will be filling in as best I can next week while Drunkahusband is on the river in his brand new canoe. You, Caz, are my inspiration, my mentor, my role model. I know I will never be as funny as you were during your famed tenure as Drunkablog's guest blogger, but I will humbly follow in your footsteps.

  2. I was having a bet each way on the bun Mrs Drunka, I know I can't see the damned bun anywhere on her head! Maybe you need to be drunk (no pun intended) or have your very own imaging machine (but this image is supposed to be the one that shows the hair bun.

I can't believe that the Drunka has convinced you to blog while he is away up yet another creek! Did he offer gifts, a holiday, he'll shower and change his undies every day?

Me, a role model? Oh dear, now that's disturbing, very disturbing. On so many levels. I have every confidence that you, dear Mrs Drunka, won't ever blog down to my standards!

You are too modest Caz..Drunka wife could learn a thing or too from you.(no offence drunka wife)

You are one smart lady, and you're fun to boot!!!!
It's not often that you get that combination...

(Oh.. and you are very caring and thoughtful too...)I really enjoy your blogging

Lookin' forward to" the duck" tomorrow!

  4. Kathy - too kind, thank you for your lovely comments.

You've been quiet of late (I have noticed, on other blogs!). Hope all is okay in your part of the world, and just that nothing very exciting in the blogosphere at present.

Actually, it has been a bit like that lately, hasn't it? Mrs Whitlam's comments about Janet being invisible (well, duh!) and the Howard's holding hands in publc being, er, unnecessary (!) is about the most exciting news item I've seen for a while. (*Yawn*)

Yeah Caz ,everythings fine with me mate. Kid's keeping me on my toes.
How is the princess and numero uno grandson.?

  6. Are you referring to the bun in the oven? Cause I don't see any bun on or around Mama Lisa's head.
